A rock that glitters when the sun catches it, like little fragments of the stars have been stuck to its surface. The MarshClan leader sits here to address the Clan.

The warriors of MarshClan sheltered beneath a wide-stretching hemlock. They sleep largely in the open air, vulnerable to rain if it is pouring down hard enough to pass through the criss-crossing hemlock needles.

The apprentices sleep on one side of a patch of hemlocks that also provides shelter to the warriors of the Clan. Their hemlock has a significantly smaller spread that then warriors', as there are fewer apprentices needing to be covered.

The second, and final, sheltered spot in MarshClan's camp is the nursery. Kits are raised in the protection of the roots of a long-fallen tree that spans straight out of camp and into the swamp. It is damp among the roots, but it is damp everywhere in MarshClan territory, and the Clan has become adept at keeping nests and kits dry.

Most MarshClan cats sleep largely in the open, and the leader is no exception. The leader sleeps near the center of the camp, beneath the drooping boughs of a hemlock. There are no enclosing walls, no protecting briars, just a nest under a tree.

The medicine den is one of the few enclosed spaces on the island of the MarshClan camp. A large, rough gray rock sticks up out of the ground, providing a sheltered area where neither sunlight nor rain reach. Surrounded closely by a series of young pine trees it is difficult to even see the medicine den from outside of the MarshClan camp.
